Each printing house, also digital or large format, is obliged to a high level of quality and repeatability of printing. The current workflow systems, RIPs and external software for creating calibration files, ICC profiles allow for predictable calibration of digital devices. It is important to follow the appropriate rules when performing it.
PSD - Process Standard Digital
- The basic guideline in the process of digital print calibration is the PSD document – Process Standard Digital, which gives us basic guidelines on how to calibrate digitally working devices, taking into account the device’s work technique and all its limitations.
Calibration
- Calibration, optimization and profiling of digital devices are performed both through the software with which the printer cooperates and using external software, in this case the calibration in the form of an ICC profile is connected to the device driver.
